@ Elizabeth M. Wright: You’re entitled to your opinion but I tend to agree with Bev and Suzanna. The little girl didn’t seem to be forcing the dog to walk that way. And madam, you’re writing your respones in capitals. According to internet etiquette, one should write in small letters. Caps signify shouting. Why are you shouting?
I don’t think this dog would walk like that if he didn’t want too. It didn’t look like he was forced to do it. Also the dog looked like it was well groomed and healthy. Nah, I don’t think it was being abused. It would really turn heads to see a little girl walking a dog like this.
And the video is only 1 minute & 13 seconds. You see where the little girl stopped & the dog didn’t go down right away. One minute & 13 seconds was plenty long enough
I did not see where the dog was being forced to walk that way–yes it is unusual & a very smart dog. The little girl did stop & she & the doggie loved on each other. I saw no abuse.
I really don’t know what to say about this. Whether this was abusive behavior, or whether the dog was trained this way, just not certain what to think. Usually I’m not at a loss for words, and although I thought it was cute in the beginning, the length of time the video went on, made me dubious of whether this is abuse or not. Still baffled. I would have to get to know the people and dog better before I share my thoughts on this.
I THINK THAT IS CRUEL TO FORCE THE LITTLE DOG TO WALK THAT WAY, WHICH IS NOT THE WAY DOGS “WALK”… YOU CAN SEE THAT THE LITTLE DOG IS LOOKING AT THE GRASS WHEN PASSING BY AND WOULD LIKE TO REST THERE. AND TEACHING A YOUNG CHILD TO BE CRUEL… TCH TCH…

I’ve never seen dogs or cats walking like this. Only circus dogs used to when I was a kid. It can’t be healthy for the spine to learn this way.
