Van Gogh’s Starry Night Painted on Water
Turkish ebru artist Garip Ay creates dreamy pieces of art. Ebru, also know as decorative paper art, is one of the oldest Turkish arts described as painting on water. Colorful patterns are formed by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water and then these patterns are transferred to paper. The results are unique and one of a kind! Watch ebru art pro, Garip Ay, recreate Van Gogh’s Starry Night on dark water in the video above! What did you think? This form of art takes a STEADY hand. The outcome of “Starry, Starry Night” was whisked away and the Portrait of Van Gough was the next step. The music was Beautiful Mozart’s Piano Solo. J.H.

It’s amazing that you have to learn what each action will produce. You start it and then it creates your plan.

The appropriate music for this would have been “Starry,Starry Night” by Don McLean
