Unconventional Timber Unloading
The barge Seaspan Harvester from British Columbia, Canada unloads its timber by tilting the ship 30 degrees and dumping the wood into shallow waters. This saves time by not having to go to the docks and unloading it crane. Watch this video and see how it was done.

Wonder how they get the logs to shore?

Talk about: “Don’t Rock The Boat”.
On the serious side: I have seen ships like that used to haul other ships.

It does look like it is about to tilt over, which would be scary. It is weird how the ship can do that.

I can just see the whole thing going over one time. Scarey.

The crew must be untying the wood and then flooding the bilges on one side to make the ship lean over, and they do this until the wood slides off the deck.

This is cool to watch and looks like the ship is going to tilt over completely. You might be right and it does look like the ship is been flooded with water on one side to get it to tilt over.
