Things Unrecognizable to the New Generation
If a young person today were to see any of these objects, they would literally have no idea what they were. Which is funny, because all of these were so common and essential to life just a few decades ago. So, let’s take a look back at things that are unrecognizable to the new generation!

Wow! Do I ever feel old(er) at 80 than I did before viewing this great video! I remember all that was included in this, and some that were not!…before dial phones, when picking up the receiver on the phone, we had live telephone operators instead of a dial tone, usually female, asking ‘number please?’–and with what began as a high school part time job instead of the other choice, a waitress, and either or both became a career for the girls/ladies. That was then and this is now!

You don’t remember the Selectric typewriter? We could change the type by changing the little ball!
Also, we had telephone booths & we also had booths to listen to records we might be interested in buying.
So much more!
