The only thing I can say that is good about this shrinkflation for the U.S. is that before people were eating more than they needed to. Which leaded to more overweight people. Everything needed to be Supersized to make someone happy.
Smaller in size is better for eating. But it is NOT for all goods. Some of us folks are retired. No extra income, prices going up, quantity & quality has really gone down. How are we supposed to get by? I feel for those with kids! Not only less money for feeding them, but clothing is out of sight too!
And don’t anyone tell me that “wages have gone up!” Yeah, right. But so has the prices on goods that are necessities for living. Forget the “fun” things.
