The Turkey Whisperer
Occurred on October 31, 2017 / Glasgow, Montana, USA. “A couple of good friends and I were pheasant hunting on a public piece of property in Montana. My friend asked me if I heard the turkeys gobbling. In Glasgow, there are virtually no turkeys, so we were amazed. On our way back to the truck I said I should strut at them and began calling with only my mouth. They began to work our way and I seized the opportunity to have a little fun and the show began!” What did you think? I agree with Jim. The turkeys are probably fed by the farm owners, that is why they were so tame. We live in a city and we have wild turkeys pass through our back yard almost daily. These are not typical wild turkeys.

Why has everyone missed the farm they came from. He is clever, but I think they are domestic turkeys, not wild. If not more kudos, they don’t act like any I’ve hunted.

Patricia Colonsson: you sad angry ungrateful hag! If it weren’t for lend lease and a million American soldiers and airmen you’d be speaking German and living on gruel.

He handled the shotgun at the beginning of the piece in an unsafe manner. He had the muzzle too close to his face. I was a hunter and was taught differently.

From one who has experienced turkey hunters in my family “calling” them in.. even tried it myself, just for fun. This is a classic, and had to be shared with them all.. what a laugh!!
Thank you.

Lol that was funny and amazing at the same time for him to be able to do that. He got that walk and turkey gobble down pack. Lol.

Hilarious! That guy has talent. I’m many years his senior, and was cramping just seeing him crouched down for so long on his haunches. Bless his heart for keeping at it, and getting the turkeys to come so close to him.

That’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched.
