The LAPD, The FBI & The CIA
The LAPD, The FBI, and the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.
The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.
The FBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit, and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.
The LAPD goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling: “Okay! Okay! I’m a rabbit! I’m a rabbit!’

To the administration:
This seems to have opened up a can of worms. Here’s an idea.
#1 the voting only allows a person to vote in the positive, even if
the vote is only a “1”
#2 Some people who felt it was NOT funny at all don’t want to even
give it a “1”, so they don’t vote at all, thus a ZERO.
#3 Thus, the ZERO people feel obligated to comment verbally.
#4 Also, thus, the rating of the joke looks high because only the
people who liked it, voted, and so it looks like 8.5 people out
of ten thought it was funny. Probably 200 to 2,000 people looked
at this joke. How many did not vote? I see by the votes on the
comments how the majority must really feel.
#5 So, to make a short story long: No comments at all, just a new
voting scale that has a negative vote and positive vote. Then you
might get a realistic idea of how funny or offensive the joke was.
Well, just trying to help. Probably said too much.
