Wow! Thanks for sharing! A few years ago l sold a 1966 convertible that l think was so rare that l told everyone that if they could find one like it known to exist, that l would take $1000-dollars off my asking price. My reasons were, that it was a 1966 convertible, with power top, coded out to be Raven Black exterior, with blue bench interior, and a 289 engine with a 4bbl carburetor. l was sad to see it go but l needed the space for other vehicles. Thanks again for sharing such a beautiful car with such a beautiful story!

I had the first one in Georgia. It was a Black 65 Mustang Convertible bought at East Point Ford in the Atlanta area. I don’t remember the exact date it was bought but it had been delivered to a Dealer in Manchester, GA because there were so few and none of the Atlanta Dealers wanted a Black one with summer coming on. The Salesman at the dealership drove me down to pick it up. This is the only picture that I have that showed it. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10155981904051635&set=a.10151132930311635.494375.554811634&type=3&theater
