I think the people who created Facebook, Twitter and such had a great idea. The people have made it what it is today and have abused a great idea that could have benefitted many people for all the right reasons. We all have the right to CHOOSE what we want out of life and Technology. I am so grateful My son does not spend his time on his phone and when he visits, WE TALK. Spend time with your kids instead of handing them a Tablet to watch some garbage on it to keep them quiet. Try talking to someone for a change and guess what, “YOU JUST MIGHT ENJOY IT!!!” Thank you for sharing and God Bless.

Circa 2000, was at Morro Beach. . .two men and two boys, all with fishing poles, trooping back from the jetty. Asked the usual, “how was the fishing”? Back came this: “just trying to get their noses out from their phones”.
3 out of 4 of our own grand kids are social media hounds. My observation is that their mindset is warped. . .whether for good or bad remains to be seen but for sure, grandparents are from a different planet.

I agree, I have great concern for how young this is starting. Where is the person to person interaction? This is scary
