I realized how free we were then. Nobody worried about where you went and what you did. We played outside all day and didn’t constantly text and play video games, It seems all the games and activities we did are forgotten and nobody “PLAYS”. We had lots of fun.

I was 9 in 1956, the only difference is we did not yet have a TV. After chores on Saturday morning we went down the block to Timmy’s house to watch cartoons/.

Life back then was so much simpler. I remember most of those . It would be nice if all of us that were kids in the 60s could share stuff like this to the kids in this generation. Maybe they would want to know more about our childhood and the things we did.
