Boy, does THIS bring back memories! As an alum of Santa Ana Valley High, 1963, I went on The Lloyd Thaxton Show (an LA competition to “Bandstand”). Wearing a Pendelton shirt was cool, surfing was in, and it was a blast. My date was Joni Mitchell’s sister. Seeing the setup for the show was an eye opener; the opening scene “window” that the camera looked through was only about a foot square. . .placed in front of the lens, who knew?
