I admire these two retiree’s on their courage. Because I certainly don’t have that type of courage, even if someone were behind me holding me up with something.
That is a wonder to watch. They both have the nerve to get on those rollerblades. But yes, I agree the young lady is holding onto something to help the older lady keep her balance. Amazing!
Can you say “If I fall down – I won’t be able to get back up?” And then say in the next breath “HIP REPLACEMENT” – but truly – looks like the girl in the background has something in her right hand – maybe a tether like rope to hold the elderly woman in an upright position.

I just realized what Ruby saw. The background is in black & white, while the elderly couple are in color. Strange!

It is an odd picture with the foreground in color and not the background. Rollerblading is harder than it looks.
