Retired Woman Builds Her Own Affordable Off-Grid Tiny House
This tiny house was completely self-built by a retired woman, and her inspiration came from 19th-century Romani vardo wagons. She built the home on a tight budget and spent several years collecting materials and planning the project before she began to build. What did you think? This woman is a saint. I’m speechless in admiration. And as a wannabe back-to-earther, as one who knows a little about construction, I’m in awe at what she’s accomplished. Forgive this rude question, but why is she living alone? If I weren’t happily married (54 years and counting), I’d be on my way to Vancouver Island.
