@ Lin–yes it is hot here–but we’ve also had a lot of rainy days the last 2 or 3 weeks-so that’s mostly why I haven’t been. Plus where I park down there (I can park for free). But I try to wait til I know they’re not real busy so as not to take up there space. The “Sugar Shack Restaurant”. My boyfriend put the apartments on top of their restaurant a few years back plus he did the work on their patio. But I don’t want to take advantage of them either. Where are you from?
Suzanna I’m from indiana. I took a greyhound bus down which was also fun. people are so nice. I loved the stop in Atlanta which had a nice resturant and wonderfull gift shop. If I’d had more money I’d got lots. lol.
We finally had about 25 min of rain which kept me from swinging this morning so did that tonight. It was nice out side but I came in because there are bats out. Scared of those. Oh my son in law retired so they are here now and I’m so happy bout that.
@ Suzanna….Isn’t it awfully hot to go now? I went around January when I visited family in Ga. Love Ga. and stayed almost 3 months with daughter on Army base. Great people there.
That’s kind of cool to have privacy at the beach, where you can place all your belonging and then jump into the water. I think a water view is the best setting. I thought about it, it would not be good to jump into the waves, I can’t swim that good.
I kind of expected it to be a “nude” beach, but “privacy” with such low barriers is kind of a joke, but if they use them to keep sand from hitting them and/or getting into their food and drinks, as people walk and run by, I get, but not for privacy!
And, Phil, you’re totally right, we have NO privacy from the media, and especially the government, with their satellites.
