   my hubby had a record player in his 1966 mustang..you had to put the records in upside down..great invention..this was before cassettes and c’ds.also the 8 track player came in the picture after that..it was a real cool invention..ahhh, to go back in time..i bet young ppl of today never heard of the car record player..

   This particular item you have sponcered here ”Portable Record Player” Is know as ”The Hi-Way Hi-Fi” …And was offered in 1956 Chrysler products exclusively. The vehicle which it is dissplayed in here is a 1956 DeSoto, which I am a collector of, and tech. adviser for the national DeSoto clubs…..Was a pleasent suprize to see this pop up on your website which I subscribe to……If I might ask…Who submitted the article ??
