After almost 2 months at sea we were returning to San Diego. Standing mid-watch we would regularly get a radio check from ‘Dego’ and could request the radioman to give a long count if we needed time to make adjustments. Usually there was no call for a count. During one stretch of several nights there was a female manning the radio ashore. During that time someone ALWAYS asked for a long count, just to hear a female voice count from 1 to 10 and back.

The male sailor in the video must be a robot. He always running away. Idiot! Computer programming error? I definitely would be running towards them. If there are woman on navy ships like those today, were do I reenlist?

What a great Video!!!The music was great. The women were absolutely beautiful. And most of all, it
reminded me of a period of time of great dance music, and outstanding dance style. More of these,
