It is unique and a very warm color, but what about when you need to move the fridge or stove? Those nasty mini-legs on the appliances always tear up the linoleum, so what would they do to the pennies, (which actually are called “cents” in the USA, while in Britain they are called pennies).

I’m sure it took a long time to do–depending on if they were doing it in their spare time too. And they most likely put poleyurethane on it (did I spell that right?) (doubtful)

Thanks Lillian. I’ve been doing this for years because if I’m in poor health or tired, then my son can just pop a nutritional TV in the microwave and I don’t have to worry about him eating junk food, or me either for that matter. It is especially handy in the winter months and its snowing or icy you don’t have to drive to the grocery store. In the summer, I prefer to use my indoor oven in lieu of my grill. My son is a great person that grills, I’m horrible at it. First time I tried I set the grill on fire…don’t ask!

I think its unique, also a gruelsome task to put down. I wonder how many pennies it took to put down on the floor, and how long did it take to do it. Hey with today’s economy, this is one way to save in a pinch, if you’re really down on your luck and out of money, at least you’ll have a bit of money in the house for your retirement. Or, maybe buy food since food prices will be going up. Stock up now everyone, I’m making homemade TV dinners from scratch, I already have over a 100 different dinners made in my stand up freezer, and 63 to finish off my small freezer above my refrigerator.

That’s a LOT of pennies. Being OCD they’d have to be all with the same side facing up and all in exactly the same direction. lol
