Pebble the Crazy Cockatoo
“Gday everyone. First off, Pebble is NOT high on anything. We run a rescue for birds. She is a rescue bird and has been previously through approx 10 homes in 20 years of her life. She is NOT on drugs. Cockatoos are known for being wild and crazy at times, and Pebble will perform like this in public places as well. She loves to do it.”
What did you think of Pebble? Please tell us in the comment section below.

Love Pebbles. She’s just wonderful. Obviously she loves attention and enjoys conversation. We’re having a really bad blizzard today so that video sure brightened this dreary day. Thanks for sending. Way to go Pebbles.

If this is a common behavior for this bird, I can see why it has had so many homes. Was funny for a little while and would get old really quickly.

I don’t think the bird was laughing but mimicking what it has learned. I think it is sad with all the head thrashing. Makes me wonder what it has experienced to have learned this.

Australian Cockatoos & Multi Coloured Lorikeets are among the most intelligent birds and not to forget the Australian Magpie. We have a few cockies who call in regularly for a biscuit and listen for us to open the cupboard door and get the bikkies. To see the Mr & Mrs Lorikeet cuddling & kissing in the backyard is a treat to behold. All these birds mate for life and at the moment Mummy Magpie is calling in with her chicks to supplement the Junior Magpies’ diet and next year the chicks will call in when they have nestlings…..This is the good part of life….

Instead of calling the bird Pebbles, maybe they should have called her Giggles. I was laughing with them. Love that bird.
