What a neat glimpse into times past, and I’m with you Raymond, that it might be a form of transit nowadays, too! I wonder how easy they are to train. I’ve seen tv shows with them and keas(sp?) not being very cooperative, at all. They are huge, but their brains, not so. I know they can really tear a human apart, with their feet, beaks and wings, too. I think I’d trust a horse more to get me to and fro now, since gas is so horrible now.

If gas prices keep rising, we may see a bunch of different vehicles on the road.
