A “Johnny Come Lately”, I can only echo all of the above comments. Tears and recriminations and fond sweet sad memories of those wonderful days , now so long gone. They were a much better time for our nation, and me..

I was born, in Western Canada, on the prairies….. so the small towns are just what I grew up with, only they were smaller in the 50s. We did not stay long on the farm… came to the big city in the early 50s….. big difference….brings back good memories. and sad ones too….long live the old times and memories…

Reminded me of that time in my life that everything wasn’t “Black”white,”Colored” and we all got along reasonably well without Demonstrating 24/7 ~!
Glad I’m on the short end (80’s) and hope I’m not around when it gets “HOT”
