Old Man Plays a Public Piano
Canadian musician Michael McNamara from the town of Cobourg, Ontario, performs an emotional cover of “Perfect” by Hedley on a public piano. Named “Foxgang Amadeus”, the piano was painted by local artist Katriona Dean to promote poetry in public spaces.

Wonderful . I wish you lived in Palm Desert so you could sing with our Joslyn Singers, a group of 30 or so seniors. We sing at retirement & nursing homes and you’d be a great asset to our group. Keep singing and playing. At 82 I’m still singing in my church choir as well as the Joslyn group. Keeps us YOUNG. Bless you for the joy you give to others.

Just one more comment here about the way Michael was described as an “old man”… Nothing could be further from the truth! He has a spirit and energy that just feels amazing because he is so emotionally into his music! Loved loved loved it! Wish I could have been there. Well, sorry for taking up two posts, and Michael, don’t stop singing!!!!

I was so taken by Michael’s talent! I kept playing his songs, sent the video to my daughter… Brought me to tears. I would love a CD to play in my car, maybe one without the traffic noise in the background. But I’ve saved the video so I can listen whenever I like. Thank you, Michael for sharing those beautiful songs and your amazing voice with the world. I wish I could hear more, but I’ll keep looking for you.
