NOW ILLEGAL, But Normal in 1950s

The 1950s are considered to be an idealized time for many. This was before regulations and restrictions were put into place in the name of safety or sometimes decency. Looking back, it does seem like the wild west when it comes to what we were allowed to do. So, let’s revisit many of the things that were normal during the 1950s, that are now illegal.
