I raised a homeless baby Bluejay by just sticking soft kitten food down his throat with a baby spoon. If you just drop it in there it just falls out and once a day few drops of water from a eye dropper. This mama may be one that regurgitates food down the baby birds throat. My baby grew and left to make a life of his own. I really loved him but he fed about every 15 min and it is a tedious job but really worth it! GOOD LUCK with your baby, Maureen.

Looks like the way I had to feed my babies. They never wanted what they should be eating. Yep, just had to poke in down them. LOL

Looks like me feeding my baby mockingbird every thirty minutes, kind of a tedious job. That bird is a bit more industrious than me though.
