Tinoma, I have definitely learned my lesson, and thank God that my engine did’nt die, since the water was half-way up the block. Thankfully none leaked into my oil stick, and into the engine! My guardian angel, whom I have no doubts has, gray hair and ulcers caused by my stubborn ways!
I’d call that “denial”, you think? I tried something like that ONCE and learned immediately the power of water. I couldnpt judge just how deep it was. I was lucky because there were barriers on the sides, but the creek water was rushing over the top of the road, and once in it, it was deep enough that my tires were under water, and I gunned the engine, said a sincere prayer, and made it through. I’ll NEVER make that mistake again! It scared the stuffings out of this woman!!
