She is a gorgeous animal. She knows who her master is & greets him calmly. When cats purr, that means they are content. But I didn’t know they made that cute “Meow!” I’ve always thot mountain lions were a beautiful animal but not to be there when in the wild. They can be ferocious then.

We have a large acreage with trees lining two sides. Had my ducks out free-ranging when out of nowhere, a big beautiful male mountain lion came through the yard, snagged a Swedish Blue and ran off to the opposite woods. It happened very fast!!!! Now have a big fierce dog that tolerates nothing on ‘her’ property. Saw her run a mountain lion off and haven’t seen it since. She also runs the big deer, but not the babies.
Very glad she came to live with us. Now I feel much safer!

When God created the earth, he provided them with natural houses. Humans kind of intervene into their habitats. This mountain lion is very common in south eastern area. Mountain lion could be very dangerous. I have heard a few stories about them.

I remember the Shamu incident. Which people say it was Tilikum. It is a sad tragedy and when viewing the environment area for Shamu, it is a like a prison, very small area to swim around in. These whales and animals are use to miles of swimming and running. It is freedom for them. I like how the safari wild life is. They let the animals live in their original habitat and watch from jeeps and trucks. Even the guide and tourist walk with some of the lions in their natural environment, which is amazing!
I think that if a animal is injured than it would be cool for it to be placed into a facility like a zoo, until well enough to be return back to its’s environment. What do you think?

Love, I so agree with you. They are best left in the wild where they need to be. If God intended them to live in houses, He’d give them that. I never thought they’d sound like this though.

I agree everyone, Cassie sound a small kitten. She is very friendly to her caretaker. I have seen a mountain lion that was a little bigger than this one close up, running down the street full speed in the country, during the day time. These cats can really run fast… It ran a quarter of a mile in like 4 to 5 seconds, running down the middle of the road straight. It was chasing after something.
