Nostalgia – we all need to go back and just “remember”. And don’t forget the 60’s – those years were equally as precious to us Seniors! I pity the children born and experiencing youth in these ugly times however, they will not mourn for that which they know nothing of!

Most of this was a fun trip down memory lane. I do object to using a picture of a star of a 1980s musical to depict something when a picture of a bonafide star from the 1950s could have been used. I also know that the push was on to switch to dial phones in the 1940s and the wall phones depicted were being pulled in the 1930s. Loved the cars, toys and styles.

I was born in 51. Don’t remember the phones looking like that, when I was older. We had the black rotary phone. Were the ones on here early 50’s?

Oh, the wonderful memories. The Fifties were a wonderful time for this old woman. The cars cruising up and down from one end of Main Street to the other. Wish I could relive those times, but since I can’t, I am so blessed to have the memories. Thank you for sharing this video.

The memories of the best things ever have been given by you. It is greatly appreciated. The past contains what is known and has feeling; it embodies who and what we are.
