Man vs. Elephant!
On this episode of Breaking Trail, Coyote and the crew are in South Africa for Part 2 of the classic elephant adventure! They’re on the search for the iconic Giant Tusker, who hails as Kariega Game Reserve’s most renowned elephant. Will Coyote and the crew be able to locate this living giant, or will the giant elephant elude them completely despite its size? What did you think? MAGNIFICIENT but…1) that “close” encounter was simply unnecessarily risky, 2) their vehicle was headed in the direction to where the elephant was located – instead of the opposite direction. If an emergency had occurred (a charge ), it is doubtful they could have avoided serious injury – certainly damage to their vehicle. Hopefully a guide was with their party who was trained to “recognize” particular “behavior” or movements by the animal, in time to avoid what appeared to be self-serving and dangerous.
Really enjoy your site in spite of the “elephant story.”
