Animals are attracted to other animals the same way babies are attracted to other babies. I think it is human nature to some, to open up their hearts. This was a lovely story. It put a smile on my face and in my heart. Thank you for sharing.

2 yrs ago we had a female hummer build a nest in a wind chime we had hanging under the awning over the porch. She ended up having 2 egg’s. Only one survived. We’d watch her feed the one all the time. Then one day he attempted to fly. He flew about 25-30 ft. I went and picked it up and put it back in the nest. Then a few day’s later he tried again. This time it he made his flight. We still have the nest, but it’s not being used. We were hoping for to get babies again, but no luck. They only come to the feeder now.

Our Heavenly Father puts all his “creatures” where they should be – it is up to them to open doors, help or do whatever is needed. What a beautiful heart warming story.

Beautiful story! I love reading or seeing anything about animals – and especially when they get along! I love animals –
any kind, shape or breed! It renews my life & gives us something good to think about! I have 2 dogs now, & would love a house full of them, but my husband, although he loves the dogs we have, but he thinks 2 dogs are fine – no more!

This was a wonderful story. It is very sad that most people are too busy with life’s problems to pay attention to the world we live in. To the beauty of the little things. I have been feeding hummers for many years. When I am late with filling their feeder, they will come up my kitchen winder, and buzz me there.
