One look could mean she’s overwhelmed or she don’t dare fall asleep while she keeps watch over all these birds, whether they’re hers or not. Maybe she’s a nanny for the nite! LOL
Not only are they different species, but “Mama”, when grown up, would make each one a meal! Owls hunt and eat small birds, mice, snakes and anything that they can catch. It is a cute picture, though.

The more I look at it, I believe that is a baby owl & not a mama. It still has its baby down feathers.
