I remember all that stuff we grew up with, a simpler time for us, as kids anyway, we didn’t have to worry about bill paying or other grown up problems. I walked to school from kindergarten thru high school, no rides from parents or buses, and when very young, didn’t worry that much about being kidnapped or most other things, or school shootings, having police officer’s on duty during school hours, metal detector’s, a bunch of serial killers, or families killing each other, and all kinds of problems, just going into our friends houses usually without knocking, drinking out of water hoses, playing outside from dusk until dawn, and all that good stuff. I feel bad for the kids of today, all the problems they have just in day to day activities, worrying about if some crazy kid or adult would shoot their schools up, loads of home work, and to me, more problems now then we had when we were kids in 50’s and 60’s

I am so glad I grew up in the 50’s!! It was the best of times!!! Not like this divisive world in which we live today!!! I loved everything about the 50’s – the best era of all!!!!!

Thanks for reminding us of the worst of the 1930’s and 1940’s that carried into the 1950’s and unfortunately still lives today, at least in the minds of bigots like you. You are so full of hate that you can’t even go to a website which has the purpose of bringing pleasure and enjoyment to people without spewing your venom all over it.
