Koala’s are so precious, but I don’t think you can keep them as pets.as Jeanette Carr explains on above reply,
they are raised until ready & then go to a park with other Koala’s. Always wished to go to Australia, but health
got bad—–but do get to enjoy seeing stuff on here!!!!

He already is being cared for by workers at the Symbio Wildlife Park out of Sydney. It is a marvellous sanctuary and when this little darling is ready, he will go into the actual park with other koalas and live a wonderful life 🙂

Females generally start breeding at about three or four years of age and usually produce only one offspring each year. However, not all females in a wild population will breed each year. Some produce offspring only every two or three years, depending on factors such as the age of the female and the quality of the habitat. In the average female s life span of about twelve years, this means that one female may produce only 5 or 6 offspring over her lifetime. Once a female has conceived it is a short 35 days before the birth of the new baby, called a joey . The tiny baby which is roughly 2 centimetres long and weighs less than 1 gram, looks rather like a pink jellybean as it is totally hairless, blind and has no ears.

In fact all baby marsupials are called joeys – like Koala joeys, possum joeys, and sugar glider joeys. All baby marsupials have a very interesting life, from the moment they are born to when they leave their mothers to make their way in the world of the Australian bush.

At first I thought there was 2 koalas, but relized shortly, it was a stuffed animal. It was a great thing these people did, taking care
    of her, so cute………

God’s amazing creation. I believe this makes God smile when his creation is cared for. Wonder do koalas make good house pets?

What an adorable, sweet, gentle, loveable little guy! I am so happy he found a home with such loving, attentive young people! I hope you continue to enjoy him for many years! Have fun, where ever you are, and I hope the authorities allow you to keep him! If not, he could alway go to live in a preserve with other koalas!

They are probably just the surrogate parents for it for now until it grows up.
