It is bad enough that some people think they can’t live with out their beer. Our pets or any animals surely don’t need to be given beer. That is just a “show off” or ” stupid” thing to do.

Used to have a half cocker half Doxie that would wander down to the pool in the apt complex and wait for someone to turn their back on their beer. He would tip it over then fold his tongue into a straw to drain it. That practice stopped as soon as we found out about it.
