I agree with all who suspect the fawn may be ill. He/she is alive as evidenced by the twitching ears. The kitten was just very curious and adorable. I hope the people there sought the advice of a vet. Perhaps the poor creature was orphaned and needed some food.

The kitten was adorable but I was wondering like many others here, was the fawn injured or sick?
You think there would’ve been some sort of response or slight movement when the kitten was jumping around it.

Here is another example of God’s love. I don’t think the fawn is hurt, she’s just tired looking for some peace and quiet, instead got lucky and Miro found her.

That fawn is in distress. Watch the heavy breathing and dilated eyes. The person sitting watching should have taken that fawn to an experienced Veterinarian or wildlife rescuer.
