Interpreting Dreams
After she woke up, a woman told her husband, “I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s day. What do you think it means?”
“You’ll know tonight.” he said.
That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it – to find a book entitled “The Meaning of Dreams”

She asked what the dream meant, so he got her a book that tells what dreams mean… She didnt ask him for a pearl necklace… She just told him she had a dream he gave her one… Books are cheaper than pearls. The dream could have meant something totally different than what everyone thinks…

@ Margaret-I agree and if I wanted a certain thing for my birthday or valentine I tell my husband. I may not get it but I do tell him. LOL

Ya know, everyone assumes that the husband meant
to be hurtful. Maybe he passes a book store on the
way to work every day and thought “I’m going to get
her that book I saw on dreams”. Maybe it never occured
to him to rush out and buy pearls just because she
had a dream.
