I Live in an Airplane
Bruce Campbell lives in an airplane. Yes, an actual jet. The Portland-based aeronautics enthusiast makes his home in a converted Boeing 727 that was once used as a Greek aircraft until the mid-1960s and now resides in a forest near Portland.

I was expecting something more modern like you see in some of these unusual homes. Like was said he’s not big on comfort and visual beauty.

interesting and enviable. I expected it to be so much more comfortable. Not the shower but the living area. He’s obviously not big on comfort or visual beauty. One could do a lot with an aircraft!

Amazing and very creative home. I like how the floors are see through glass like. There is a great view of nature where he is at. I don’t like the shower thing. Wonder how do he keep the inside completely warm.

I say more power to him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him converting a plane into a home. There is no limit to the things he can do to make his home more comfortable. If he’s happy living there, I’m happy for him.
