To gem, you’re welcome. I’m sorry that you suffered emotional abuse. But the reason I caught it was due to the fact that I also have suffered emotional, physical and financial abuse. Now, I always have my guard up…as this abuse started when I was a child, right up to the time I got married. Now, widowed twice, and going to turn 65 in December, my guard is always up when it comes to emotions at any age level. Even if someone says they are joking about something, sad to say, sometimes I’m not certain if indeed a person is joking. Really have been traumatized but I’m a survivor…I hope you are as well Gem. Have a beautiful evening.
Lola, you’re right. After reading your second post, I realized that it was a form of emotional abuse. And, as someone who has suffered emotional abuse I am surprised I missed that. Thanks for your comment.
I agree with all of the above posters. Most of these children were spoiled brats, but you can’t blame them you have to blame poor parenting. If my child ever threw a bottle at me, or hit me, he would have more then his/her candy to worry about. It would be the first, last and only time that my child would do that to me, trust me on that!!!! That is why we have so many delinquents in the world today, and so much crime. Poor parenting. Don’t even get me started…I’m on a roll today and not a good one to start my day off. In any case, for the “sweet, adorable children, the few that were on video” and it’s a shame that there were only a few, kudos to the parents. However, I would never personally tell a child something like this as a joke…they are too young to understand. There are jokes that they can grasp for their age level, but to bring them to tears in my opinion is abusive. But that’s my opinion.
This was NOT a very nice joke to play on these kids. But, the kids toward the end were adorable. Especially the little boy who said, “I just want you to be happy.”
aww-that last little girl was so sweet…but some of those other ones–arrrrggghhh! TIME OUT FOR SURE! I’ll say one thing for sure- my daughter is doing a wonderful job raising her 3 children..behavior such as some of those children here is absolutely not TOLERATED.
How precious the ones that forgave their mommy. like the little girl at the end. but, I must say I agree with the little girl who said, “but I worked so hard for it!” Lol.
A very good example of, “WHAT YOU CAME/COME FROM”. 95% of these kids were brats. Watching this makes me very thankful for my wonderful children as children and adults.
The sweet loving ones were ” PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGELS”. GOD BLESS the wonderful parents. THE BRAT THAT THREW THE BOTTLE OF WATER AND THE BRAT THAT HIT THE PARENT OR WHOEVER WAS FILMING WILL PROBABLY GROW UP TO BE “SCHOOL BULLIES” AND “GANG MEMBERS”. BRATS WILL BE BRATS AT ANY AGE!!!
Because he’s black? What about the other little shitheads that threw tantrums and threw stuff? Get real. kids are kids regardless of their upbringing, its all about personality
ToGetOverYouself: Well your name fits you well,,,’GETOVERYOUSELF’ NONE OF THE POSTERS, AND I’M SAYING NONE every mentioned race on here.
Re-read the postings where/who said anything about being black???? Everyone said ‘BRAT’ NOT ‘BLACK’ And most if not all agreed that there were spoiled brats on here throwing temper tantrums without using vulgarity. So you my friend, really fit the name GETOVERYOURSELF BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO DO!!!! I PERSONALLY DON’T APPRECIATE VULGARITY AND BEFORE I COMMENT ON ANY POSTINGS I’M SURE TO READ AND EDIT MY OWN POST, BEFORE I MAKE A FOOL OUT OF MYSELF AS YOU JUST DID!
Jean H….I agree with you 1000%. Children learn from the parents on sharing. If the parents don’t train the children to share even a bit of candy in their young years, they will never share when they are older.

Yeah, teach your kids that it’s okay to lie and bully. That’s what those parents did, just for a few laughs and a few seconds on tv.

OK, so most of the kids had a fit but a few were raised right and was not upset. Good household they came from.
