How to Wash the Cat
How to Wash the Cat…
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a “power-wash and rinse”.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

If you look at the pictures you can see none of the cats are in a toilet,
so lighten up all you serious folks this is just a joke. However I do wash my cat sometimes in the bathroom sink. I get the water hot but not hot enough to burn me or the cat.Cold or cool water upsets my cat but the hot seems to relax him.

It is called a JOKE. Here allow me to show you the definition:
‘joke’ (j?k)
[Latin iocus.]
(noun)
Something said or done to evoke laughter or amusement, especially an amusing story with a punch line.
A mischievous trick; a prank.
An amusing or ludicrous incident or situation.
Informal
Something not to be taken seriously; a triviality: The accident was no joke.
An object of amusement or laughter; a laughingstock: His loud tie was the joke of the office.
(verb: joked, jok·ing, jokes.)
(intransitive verb)
To tell or play jokes; jest.
To speak in fun; be facetious.
(transitive verb)
To make fun of; tease.
(derivatives)
jok?ing·ly
adverb
(taken from Dictonary.com)
it is not meant to be taken seriously. I mean…unless you’re a complete idiot…nobody is going to take their cat and do exactly as the joke instructs them to. If they did…then yes…they ARE being cruel to their cat.
It is using the fact that most people know how much most (believe it or not..SOME cats actually like the water) cats dislike baths and will do anything in their power to escape the water; hence why the cat would end up “agitating” the water themselves.
In response to cat owner: Every REALLY look at how much water there is in a toilet? Not really that much so I doubt a cat (at least a full grown one) will drown. I would think it would have to be a pretty small cat if it is able to drown in about 1-2 inches of water. Also, I doubt there is enough force in most toilets to pull a cat’s head or tail into the drain when flushed and most toilets take only a few (probably like 2-3) seconds to flush before the water flows back in again; therefore, the suction will cease after a few seconds; not enough time for the cat to drown.
Just relax…nobody in the pictures were actually hurting their cats; the cats were annoyed…that’s all. Later; once the trauma of being bathed left the cats and they were nice and dry and warm, I bet they curled right up in the owner’s laps and took a nice nap. I know my cat did once she “forgave” me for bathing her.
Eh…but…I doubt my comment will matter much. You’ll read it..probably argue back at me (or ignore me) which…doesn’t matter either way to me…and fail to see the funny side of the joke because you’re too caught up in the fact that the act implied in the joke is cruel. Yes…cruel…but not to be taken seriously.

@ Rabbit—I agree wholeheartedly. This is nothing but cheap animal cruelty. Yes, animals need baths but, humane ones in a tub preferably given by a professional who knows what they are doing. Most often, cats are given dry baths with a cleaning powder that they don’t mind. The pics here are cute but, the words are unnecessary. (Note: Depending on the force of a flush, the cat can be sucked into the drain and die if their head is facing in the right direction or it can pull at their tail which could get stuck and also cause death by drowning)

I agree with Becky it was sent by a dog if they had seen the first one. My Chihuahua did’nt want to go out in the rain but he did, for he had to go out to do his thing. And I gave him his baths he didn’t like that either.

This had to be sent by the Dog !! If not – this is cute – look @ the expressions on their faces – priceless. Only a human with no sense of humor would find this cruel – say people – like Rabbit and Nicole. But dear humans – we do wash our cats and dogs.
