We have a hill on a golf course here that in the winter time I take my dogs tobogging with me (forgive the spelling, too early in the day and I’m not going downstairs for my dictionary.) Anyway, first time out tobogging with my very first dog, who was a cock-a-poo, I ended up in a tree because another person on a sled cut in front of me, and it was the first time I ever rode a toboggin. That was about ten years ago (and I’ll be 65 in December). Did that stop me from toboggin, heck no, but it did stop me from being near trees when I do go toboggin. My animals and I have a blast each year when it snows here at the golf course. People come from miles around as the hills are very steep. My other encounter with the sled was in a small creek. My son and dogs had to get me out, I was laughing so hard I couldn’t get out of the creek. You got it, my two dogs and son pulled me out, man I was so cold, icicles were hanging off of me everywhere. Two great memorable experiences. Unfortunately if it snows this year I won’t be going down the hills of the golf course, same old story until I have both knees replaced, its refraining me from doing the fun things I love. Anyway, I hope I made someone smile with these “testimonies.”
