Just thinking the position the bear is in, wondering if it isn’t a “stuffed bear” just put in place there to make it look as though both photographer and bear know each other. As a woman, I would be heading for the hills in the opposite direction and not ‘high fiving’ this bear. I only high five my dogs.

She is probably a forest ranger & she & the bear have got used to each other. The bear realizes she isn’t a threat. I think its a sweet photo!
