Grace Braeger Has Driven Her Immaculate ’57 Chevy For 62 Years
THIS stunning Chevrolet Bel Air has been the pride and joy of the same owner for more than 60 years. Grace Braeger bought the car for $2,250 in 1957 and never imagined she would still have it all these years later. Nicknamed 57 Lady, the Chevrolet continues to impress onlookers and its owner. What is the secret to its longevity? Grace said: “When it needs something, you take care of it. You replace it, you always try to keep it clean and you try to keep it waxed. And you go by the manual.” What did you think? Please leave a comment in the section below and remember to share the video and sign up for our free newsletter!

Great, enjoy your Chevy. I have a 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula 6- Speed LT-1 V-8 I bought new, I can’t believe I still have it, bright red, t-tops, with 267,000 miles, original paint, never garaged. I’ve had people want to buy it, but I didn’t want to sell because when I moved to Florida, I put a trailer hitch on it because I bought a jetski, I couldn’t see pulling a jetski with a Corvette. I’ve had about 15 cars in-between, but just always liked to go back to the 320HP it has. I have a Camry I drive everyday, so I hardly put 200 miles on the Firebird now. I have several pictures/stories with the car. Like when I went from Kentucky to Florida and put about 6,000 miles in one week. When I was in Florida, I have pictures of 3 Space Shuttles with the Firebird. I had a dog I lost last year, she loved the Firebird, she would get me up on Saturdays and Sundays to take it to the dog park, then we would go for a long ride. I even have all the license plates, from when I bought it in Ohio, to Kentucky to Florida. The plate on the car now is 265,000. One of my best pictures is with the 1982 Lamborghini Countach(red), my 2005 Corvette (yellow) and the 1995 Firebird in Florida under a big palm tree.

This is awesome! I bought my ’57 Bel Air 4-door Hardtop back in 1977 at 17 years old and still have it 44 years later!
It is in pretty bad shape and has been parked in the garage since 1995.
The only way my baby will ever get fixed up is if I win the lottery! I miss driving her.

My question is simple, first where does she get parts for her repairs. second, she must live in a fairly UNPOPULATED area because no matter how careful I am with my 2006 Avalon some inconsiderate jerk will tap my bumper or let a shopping cart scratch the side or such.
