Sun Valley Serenade is the first of the only two movies featuring The Glenn Miller Orchestra (the other is 1942’s Orchestra Wives). Besides “Chattanooga Choo Choo”, other Glenn Miller tunes in the film are “Moonlight Serenade”, “It Happened in Sun Valley”, “I Know Why (and So Do You)”, and “In the Mood”. What did you think? Correction, the dancers were the Nicholas Brothers. Mike is right, that’s Dorothy Dandridge.

I believe the singer was Tex Beneke and if I’m not mistaken the dancers were “The Step Brothers”.

GREAT! So much better than all the noise that’s coming at us on radio and TV that’s supposed to be music. A lot of great music came out during WW2.
