“I’m truly impressed,” he tells the Lion King. “Everything here seems so well-run and beautiful.”
The Lion King straightens up with pride. “I have my own way of making sure all my subjects keep their wits. Let me show you.”
He picks up the phone and makes a call.
“Hello?” It’s the Elephant on speaker.
“Hello, Elephant. I have a question for you: who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?”
The Elephant thinks for a moment and then says, “Ah, sure, Your Highness. That’s easy, it’s me!”
“Good job, thank you!” says the Lion King, hanging up.
The Rooster is impressed. “Thanks, I’ll definitely try this back home!”
Back at the Farm, he meets the Turkey.
“Hey, I was just wondering… I have a question for you. Who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?”
The Turkey is caught off guard. Embarrassed, he can’t think of an answer.
“Oh… well… sorry, boss, I don’t know right now. I’ll think about it, okay?”
He runs to the Henhouse and calls an urgent assembly of all the hens.
“Chicks, listen. The boss asked me this question, but I couldn’t find the answer. It goes like this: who is the child of your father and your mother, but is not your sister or your brother?”
Silence.
“No ideas at all?”
Still silence.
The Turkey miserably heads back to the Rooster, ready to admit defeat. Suddenly, his phone rings. It’s the Hen.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Turkey, I got your answer! That’s easy, it’s me!”
“Great! Thanks a lot!”
Now full of confidence, the Turkey walks up to the Rooster.
“Boss, I’ve got the answer to your question. That’s easy, it’s the Hen!”
And the Rooster replies, “Oh, you dummy… no, it’s the Elephant!”

Today’s joke of the day is funny. Some days the joke is cleaver or amusing but this one made me laugh.
