Two blondes found themselves trapped in an elevator late in the evening.
The lights flickered, the elevator lurched to a stop, and silence filled the air except for the faint hum of the emergency light.
One blonde sat huddled in the corner, tears streaming down her face as she rocked back and forth.
βWeβre never getting out of here,β she sobbed.
The other blonde stood by the elevator doors, pounding on them with both fists and yelling at the top of her lungs: βHELP! SOMEBODY! HELP!β
She kept shouting until her voice began to crack, but no response came.
Minutes dragged by.
The crying blonde suddenly perked up, eyes wide as if struck by inspiration.
βWait, Iβve got an idea!β she said, wiping her cheeks.
The other blonde spun around, hopeful. βReally? What is it?β
βWell,β the first blonde said earnestly, βinstead of you shouting alone, why donβt we shout together?Β That way people will definitely hear us!β
βThatβs brilliant!β the other blonde exclaimed. βOkay, ready?β
They took a deep breath, stood side by side, and shouted in unison:
