A nurse is walking down the hallway of the maternity ward when she spots a new father peering through the glass window…
His chest puffed out with pride as he watches his newborn son.
The man’s eyes are glued to the tiny baby, and he can’t help but smile at every little movement the baby makes…
The nurse approaches him with a warm smile and asks, “Which one is yours?”
With an air of arrogance, the father points at the baby who’s peacefully sleeping in the corner of the nursery…
“That handsome boy over there, of course,” he says, puffing out his chest even more.
The nurse looks at the baby and coos, “Aww, what a cute baby!”
The father, feeling even prouder now, grins and says, “I bet you say that to all the new fathers.”
The nurse shakes her head and replies, “No, actually, I hardly ever say that.”
The father, with a knowing look on his face replies, “Oh come on, you must say that to everyone.”
But the nurse insists with a friendly smile, “No, honestly, I almost never say that.”
Doubting her response, the man asks, “What is it that you normally say?”
The nurse, still watching the baby, says, “Well, I normally say… “
“‘The baby looks just like you’.”
