A friend tries to console her and asks, “What happened to your husband?”
“He died from eating poison mushrooms,” says the wife.
The woman gets married a second time and not long after the marriage her second husband dies…
The same friend tries to console the grieving wife and asks, “What happened to your second husband?”
“He died from eating poison mushrooms,” the grieving wife replies.
The woman takes a third husband and not very long after the marriage the third husband dies.
The consoling friend asks once again, “What happened to your third husband?… “
“Was it mushroom poisoning?”
The saddened wife responds, “No, he fell down the stairs and died from a broken neck.”
“A broken neck! How terrible!” replies the friend.
“Yes,” says the wife…
“He wouldn’t eat the mushrooms.”
