I want to make one of these. I have the pics and the songs, but don’t have the skill. This is great. Wish I could count the times I danced by “ Twilight Time!”.

The fortunate thing about this period is that those were the good ol’ days because I was blessed with a very caring Mom and Dad, 2 Brothers and Sister, my best friends who left this earth way too early, and to top it off, I do miss my youth and carefree days. I was lucky enough to have found the love of my life at a late juncture in life, and so I still have a reason to think I was one of the lucky ones. The world was a far better and friendly place to live then, I miss that too!!

Dennis B. December 18, 2020 @ 3;10pm Arizona: What a fabulous “memory maker!!!!” What a great day when the ice cream truck cruised down our
street…..The man delivering our milk (glass bottles) was my Uncle Bill. Such a great time to be living in the 50’s. Life was so much simpler then. Ahhh.
the Mickey Mouse Club, and I had a huge “crush” on Annette… I always tuned in for the “Adventures of Spin and Marty”. Had my 10th birthday in 1955,
but was already getting Hooked on “Rock-and-Roll”—Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bill Haley and his Comets…..I always tuned in for Life with the Nelsons:
Ozzie, Harriet, David, and of course, Ricky. So many great, family, TV shows we could always enjoy watching and enjoy. My favorite hamburger stop was
getting a hamburger for .25-cents, Fries for .15-cents, and a frosted mug of root beer for a dime. Thank you for such an awesome memory maker.DD

Almost 87 years young/old, born in 1934….nothing makes me feel sadder then the State of Patriotism and the disrespect for all things Americana in today’s “sad” and “politically correct” atmosphere! To say “I didn’t see IT coming, would be a lie! Even “with half a brain” the political left, the political crowd of “I want IT now and I want it FREE…”everything’s coming to me”…Free Food, Free Rent, Free Medical, Free School-especially College, Free, Free, Free, Free…in many cases, “from the cradle to the grave!” Married at 20 years old, divorced at 27 years old, 2 little girls of 3 and 5 years old…lower middle class parents…who tried to help me….and then a life of long hours, hard work…learning, learning and learning more…until “I suddenly had a tremendous career” going on! No help! No Welfare! Nada! Zero dependence! Parents that tried to “fill in!” I’m fed up with the Progressive Crowd that’s destroying America! AND, WORSE YET….they are getting away with it! Destroying Blue Cities, all Liberally run…by Riots, Theft, Mayhem, Murder, Vandalism…WORSE of all to see, in my lifetime, is the disrespect, the hatred, the “yes” murderous atmosphere our Nations Police Men and Women face, from Anarchists…of all persuasions…who leave the average persons in their Communities afraid, fearful for themselves and their families, with less and less places to shop… Then a President (who was never my personal cup of tea) who had done so much to enrich, to secure, to “rebuild” the America, that the last Administration before him had almost bankrupted and diminished….that “I love America Patriot” loses his Presidency to a “fake, a phony, a washed up and out, professional con-man/politician..whose a genius in “speaking from both sides of his mouth and what’s left of his memory and brain!” I’ve made a long, long “speech”…but at 87 years old (almost) “who gives a damn?” God Bless America!

I remember every song . I started first grade in 51 and graduated in 59 in A small town in central WA. I remember the Day Elvis Died as was working at A NAPA parts store . Here in Central Nebraska there is a radio station that plays only old country songs . I love it .
