How delightful! From childhood to being a Mom in 5 minutes; the pics, tunes brought back so many memories of golden moments. Sleepyhead dollies, Roy Roger’s & Gene Autry, Route 66, Mercury(1951) & Dairy Creme cones, Elvis, Ricky, Big Bopper, Blueberry Hill, flower children & coffee shops, embroidery tunics, to days of jeans. Some pleasures never end! Thank you time – for my childhood ❤️. BLESS US ALL!

I was a teenager in the 1950’s and remembered details of all the clips shown. What beautiful memories remain with me. I am 85 years old now and was still able to sing along with all the songs from the 50’s. As teenagers, we loved listening to those songs from the old Wall-O-Matic coin operated juke boxes that were located at every table in a restaurant. For a nickle or a quarter, one could select remotely any song found on the main juke box and play it from their table. Unfortunately, Smart Phones with their ability to store 100’s of your favorite songs now, killed the need for juke boxes. Thanks for the memories!!!

It went by so fast — both the decade and the video, but I did see one mistake. In the cigarette ads section, Lucky Strike in the green package. The green color in a pack of “Lucky Strike Green” went to war in the 40’s. I possessed an actual pack from a very old “C” ration box handed out during a training exercise in 1956. USMC did not waste money on recruits.
