It is a shame, a that all the young people today are missing out on what America
was like in the 50 era. All the kids played out side you didn’t have to lock up your
house to leave it no buddy would bother any thing. We all had wonderful parents
and neighbors. It just was a time when every one got along. I don’t think we will
ever see thoughs days again. My sencere love for all the 50’s.

yes, yes. I agree. This is a beautiful memory of happier times in our great nation. I sincerely hope we can at least return what is good for the working class folks. Trump will not go far away. Maybe back in the White House,we all hope

At 76 (and 1/2 !) I remembered almost everything in that ’50’s video, and had or still have it. I still have that wooden rolling pin with the thin green handles (that was my mom’s) , and the cookbook next to it, a wedding shower gift. The music? Who could forget! So many things we can relate to with fond memories. Thank you so much for such an outstanding 7 minutes back in time…this is one of your best presentations! I’ll pass this link along and keep a copy for myself to revisit again. And Again!

I think the picture of the ice cream truck near the beginning may be be and my younger brother. My 2 cousins may also be in it. The pictures go so fast it is hard to be sure. 87 Woodward Ave. Thornhill, On. is where I grew up.

I cried all the way through this. It brought back memories of my best girlfriend & I going to the Legion dances on

Sat. afternoons. She passed away four years ago. Her favorite group was the Everly Brothers. I loved Ricky Nelson The kids today have no idea what they missed. It was so much better then.

Great me memories, the women looked so nice, I remember my mother wearing house dresses. We always ate dinner together around the table without TV or phones,we talked.

At 83 this was so much fun to revive the best years. Sad times for teens now with so much hate, homeless and horror movies.
Times were better when people obeyed the laws and respected others, especially their parents and police.
The drug lords are destroying our country. LEAVE POLITICS OUT OF THIS!!
