Well I beat you Truman was still our President when I got married and soon I was in Korea , but I did love the Fifties , The time in Korea was spent as a medic , so when the Movie mash came out , I took my wife to see it and she got the idea we had a Hot lips , One of my favorit autos was a Black 55 Ford Crown Victoria , Yes I still remember out Houses and up setting them at Halloween

I remember it all. In fact I probably have some of those things in my garage. I’m sure I have an iron in the original box. “Them”

OK for me lots to remember that was innocent, But not one person of color in that whole thing except jay silverheels, Tonto, for less than a second, even tho half the songs were by black musicians. No wonder we felt safe in our own little bubble.

good question. Don’t suppose all this feel good stuff is what’s wrong with today? Graduated 1956. Two days later was in Ft. Leonardwood for Army basic training.

The hours I spent playing with a doll house like that one came back with some warm and wonderful feelings. The cars! I am not a car buff, nor do I wish for the so-called good o!d days, but wow!! Those were some cars. Style and pizzazz!

I remember so well for I just got out of high school in 1955 and married. That was the best years ever.
