When I was a kid there was no internet or iPhones or even computers for God sakes, but we did have Schwinn Stingray bikes and we used to build huge ramps at the edge of a huge stone wall by my buddy’s driveway that we’d fly off of (with football helmets on of course). Most of the times we crashed and burned, but when you stuck it just right, you had the feeling you were like Evel Knievel! I wish I had a Mulligan and were a kid in today’s world, I’d be all over Extreme Mt Biking, Hang Gliding and BASE jumping…. Thanks for allowing me to ride vicariously with you, it was a thrill.

Takes a lot of nerve and some skill to traverse those slabs.

I met a young lady who was trying out her new wheelchair, at a rehab hospital she was trail bike riding in Whistler BC, and took a tumble and became a quad at 26 yrs old. She confessed she would not have done this ride if she knew of the ongoing consequences and realized this could have been dangerous for a first-timer or anyone, just thought it would be fun as her friends did the same, with no formal safety instruction on trail bike riding. Do not think it would have helped any way she admitted.

An amazing feat. How did he even think that was possible?
